Happy day-before Valentine’s Day!!!
Isn’t Sam’s card the cutest? (Not that I’m bias.) I pinned a lot of cute DIY Valentine’s for his class party this year; but, in the end, I remembered that I’m a.) not crafty and b.) eight months pregnant and decided to order pre-made cards from Minted instead. Sam chose the design he wanted, and I love how they turned out!
Also, in the vain of my being the Mom of the Year, you should know that I forgot one of the kids in Sam’s class and had to scrounge together an extra card at the last minute. I was totally the mom that was Facebook messaging other moms in the class trying to find out who I was missing at 10PM after Sam randomly mentioned a little girl for the first time as I was putting him to bed last night. I will never survive the elementary school years. 😉
On the other hand, I did make slice-and-bake heart cookies for my students (I outdid myself, I know) and wore my new coral/pink fleece cardigan to school today. #allisnotlost
No big V-Day plans for us that I know of, but I am planning to pick up some heart shaped donuts for breakfast with my boys tomorrow morning and enjoy another quiet Saturday as a little family of three. Jeff and I are hoping to get in one last good date night before baby next weekend, so this one will probably be just more of the same around the house/nursery etc. I think I might be ready to “reveal” the nursery next week some time. We’ll see.
Anyway, what’s on holiday weekend your agenda? Hope it’s a great one!

I’m an elementary teacher and I give the parents a list of first names. Next year I’ll also request they put 1-2 extra card in just in case. I had a new student start today…yikes! Thankfully most parents had extras!

Any help you can give is appreciated 🙂
