Happy weekend! We survived Pukefest 2016 and are looking forward to a spring-like weekend. To get yours started, here are a bunch of links and a few likes:
Links:
“On Going Gray in my Thirties” from Tsh – this was perfect timing for me, as I am – most definitely – “going gray.” I like what she has to say, and I think her hair looks beautiful.
“Backyard DIY Race Car Tracks Your Kids Will Love” – these are SO cool!
A cute idea for St. Patrick’s Day classroom treats for my fellow Irish gals.
“How Blogging Has Changed Since 2008” – I’ve almost been at it since then and can relate to many of these… Anyone else?
This documentary looks so good.
“The ‘Quitter’s Mindset’ Could Be the Secret to Success” – great read
“My Sister’s Home Makeover” from Cup of Jo – oh man. That teal sofa and coral bed… and Lucy’s sweet reaction…

I can’t stop thinking about this dress for spring. It looks really flattering and like it would be perfect for weddings, showers, church, etc.
For my fellow cardigan & pineapple lovers: Fruits of Your Layer.
Old Navy is having a big sale this weekend! I’m loving this top and this dress for me, and these shoes for Nora.
I just added this book and this one to my (ever-growing) “To Read” list, and I can’t decide which one to pick for my Book Club. Suggestions? Reviews?
Have a great day!

I just started finding silver (gray, but silver sounds better doesn’t it?) hairs this year. I’m only 30, and have a young looking face, so I’m not too worried about looking old yet.My mom has always dyed her hair, so I really don’t have a good idea of how much gray hair to expect.
I think silver streaks in dark hair can look pretty cool. Given my penchant for bright highlights, gray would actually make it much easier to have fun colors without having to mess with bleaching my dark hair.

Grey hair? Yep- I’ve had them since age 16. So now, 16 years later, I’ve also embraced my silver… meaning, I’ve embraced getting my hair done every 5 weeks. At least my hair is growing, right? 🙂
Thanks for the links. I thoroughly enjoyed them!
