You guys, I’m writing this from a quiet Starbucks BY MYSELF. I’m drinking very (almost too) hot coffee, and I’m planning my trip to Target when I leave. It.is.glorious.
We’ve had a long week. Sam is recovering from his surgery, but people aren’t joking when they say it is a tough process. (For the record, SO much harder than just the tubes and adenoids surgery we did a few years ago.) He hasn’t been back to school yet and is still taking medicines (just over the counter stuff now) every 4-6 hours around the clock. I’ve been sleeping with him because the nights – when his throat gets dry – are the WORST. Needless to say, when Jeff suggested that I have some “me time” this morning, I could hardly get out of the house fast enough. I love my kids, but I’m so much better when I’m recharged. So, here I am. Best.
Here are a few of my favorites from around the web in case you find a few minutes to yourself this weekend:

I bought something very similar to this tunic in army green back in the fall and have gotten SO much wear out of it. It is light-weight, flattering in the tummy area, and long enough to wear with leggings. People ask me about it all the time. There are new (springish) colors (+black) out now, and it’s 30% off the already discounted price (code: XTRA30) making it only $27.00. Not bad. (I recommend sizing down if you are between sizes.)
Have you seen the new Baby Boden stuff out for spring? Seriously, it KILLS me! I just put this bathing suit on Nora’s birthday wish list from Gigi. 😉
Speaking of Nora’s birthday… This came in the mail this week. Ahhh!
These Lush maxi dresses look perfect for spring/summer, and they’re on sale.
I’m super intrigued by Circle with Disney. Have any of you tried it?
I’ve loved my CamelBak water bottle so much that I’m ordering one for each of the kiddos for their Easter baskets – ladybugs for Nora and robots for Sam.
(Speaking of Easter baskets, I’m sharing 25+ non-food ideas for kids’ Easter baskets on Monday. Stay tuned!)
Have a great weekend friends!

SO much goodness in this post – I’m loving the “don’t be smug” article – I find myself eating smug mommy crow on a daily basis as my twins enter the clingy mobile phase, also I tried on that exact tunic last week in pink but they didn’t have my size in store – I didn’t even think to look online so THANK YOU for this! Hope you enjoyed your day of quiet, hot coffee and solo Target browsing 🙂
