Good morning friends! As you may have noticed, I’m in a bit of a blog slump right now. My ebook launch kind-of wore me out; but, the good news is that I’ve got several posts lined up and ready to go for next week, so the end is in sight… (Scroll down for a list of some of my ideas and a quick survey to see what you’re into!) Thanks for sticking with me!
In the meantime, here are some great things from around the internet this week:
Links:
“The Antidote to Comparison” – wise words, beautifully written by Sara Hagerty of Every Bitter Thing Is Sweet
“How to Use Books for Styling” – I have books ALL over my house (including a yellow-book collection as the most decorative element of our living room). I LOVE using them as decoration, but never really thought about how I do it. Oh Joy! has some great tips for getting started…
How to Fold a Fitted Sheet – finally
“11 Delicious Slow Cooker Soup Recipes” – because… fall
“Outsourcing Makes Me a Happier Mum” – me too
“To Moms Who Waste Coffee” – love it, especially for my SAHM friends 🙂
“How to Email” – Brevity is NOT my strength, but this makes me want to work on it

How cute and comfy-looking is this Fringed Plaid Buttondown Dress from Anthropologie?
Primary recently sent me some good Fall clothes for my kids (if it ever cools off enough for them to wear them, I’ll post some pictures), and I was so impressed with their quality – they feel sturdy, but still very soft and comfortable. I’ve got my heart set on adding to our Primary Collection with these tunic tees, long-sleeve baby dresses, and under shorts. (Also, they’ve got some GREAT Halloween costume ideas made out of simple solid clothes here.)
I’m excited about the SheReadsTruth 2016 Advent study and, especially, the corresponding Kids Read Truth Advent Cards!!!
The Girl Next Door Podcast – I first “met” Kelsey when we were both interviewed for the working moms episode of The Mom Hour, and I immediately felt like I connected with her on so many levels and wanted to be friends in real life… Since moving to Arizona isn’t really an option for me right now, her podcast is the next best thing. Every other week she chats with her actual next door neighbor, Erica, over a cocktail (recipe included) about parenting, marriage, organization, and life in general. It’s so fun and relatable – a new favorite podcast, for sure!
I’m basically obsessed with Kate’s new bangs.
Speaking of Kates, are you following the royal family’s trip to Canada? Could they be any more adorable?
I really want to do this in November.
Everything in the Coffee + Crumbs shop is amazing, but I particularly love these cards (shown above), and this print.
Not to brag or anything, but Sam read the whole Bible this week (with this app). 😉
I’m going to buy this sweater in mustard (and maybe this one) today. And I love this one for Nora. (This isn’t in her size, but I LOVE it too.)
And finally, I have a quick poll for you to help me as a plan my upcoming blog posts and try to get back into a regular writing routine… If this goes well, I may start asking for your input at the beginning of each month about what you’d like to see here, and then doing what I can to deliver! Wouldn’t that be fun?!? THANK YOU for taking two minutes to respond:
Thanks guys! Have a great weekend! I’ll see ya on Monday!
