Wednesday was Nora’s birthday (where has the year gone?) and tomorrow is mine! We’re having a joint party (OK, it’s really just for her) tomorrow morning, so I’m posting this a little early. I’m taking the weekend off from blogging to celebrate my girl and my Jesus (;)), but next week is SPRING BREAK (cue the chorus of angels), so I’m looking forward to some extra time to spend in this space (I’m about 700 posts behind what I have in my head). In the meantime, here are some links and likes for you…

I just treated myself to some new mascara last night after hearing tons of beautiful blog women rave about it.
Bought this too.
I made these sweet potato and refried bean quesadillas for Nora’s birthday dinner Wednesday night, and both kids devoured them!!
Love the message on this shirt for Sam.
This book is so pretty and educational.
Speaking of books, I’m starting this this weekend. (Finally.)
I’m obsessed with ALL of the new Honey Bee Tee styles right now – especially this one on sale for summer! (Stay tuned: I’ve got a code for FREE SHIPPING coming to you on Monday!!)
Friends, in the midst of all the excitement of birthdays and bunnies and spring break, I don’t want to miss the significance of Good Friday today and Easter on Sunday… It only takes a few minutes of scrolling your newsfeed to recognize the darkness and pain in our world – it is almost too much to bear lately, but I’m thankful for a Savior who GETS that and offers HOPE and LIFE in His resurrection. (This is one of the best posts I’ve seen on that.) May you have a wonderful Easter weekend and find precious minutes to reflect on the power of it all!
With love,
E
P.S. Make sure you’re following me on Instagram for party pictures tomorrow!
